Born in Delhi, India, in 1975, Maniish Mehra is an entrepreneur and management consultant with more than three decades of experience spanning corporate advisory, international business development, project finance facilitation, strategic investments, and cross-border business relationships.
Mr. Mehra belongs to the family of the late Shri Radhakishan (Mehra), the distinguished actor, writer, director, and comedian of the golden era of Indian cinema. Shri Radhakishan (Mehra) appeared in more than thirty-eight motion pictures, including Baiju Bawra, Naya Daur, Chhoti Bahen, Parvarish, Sadhna, Ek Hi Rasta, School Master, Lajwanti, New Delhi, and Amar Rahe Yeh Pyaar, earning recognition as one of the most versatile character actors of his generation.
Mr. Mehra began his professional career in 1993 while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree, joining his family’s business enterprise as a marketing trainee. This early exposure to commercial operations, customer engagement, and business development laid the foundation for a career dedicated to entrepreneurship and strategic management.
Following the diversification of the family business in 1995, he was appointed Marketing Director of the group’s electronic media venture. The company provided post-production facilities to leading production houses and media professionals while producing news, current affairs, sports, and public awareness programming for India’s public broadcaster and various Ministries of the Government of India. This experience provided him with extensive exposure to media management, government liaison, and large-scale project execution.
Between 2002 and 2006, Mr. Mehra was entrusted with establishing and expanding the marketing and sales operations of the group’s information technology business. During this period, he successfully developed nationwide business networks and participated in strategic initiatives, including the development of an e-learning platform through a collaborative commercial arrangement.
Recognising the increasing opportunities within international commerce and structured finance, Mr. Mehra expanded his professional activities into the commodities and financial services sectors between 2006 and 2011. During this period, he cultivated business relationships with corporate institutions and financial organisations across multiple jurisdictions, gaining practical experience in international trade, structured transactions, banking procedures, and cross-border commercial operations.
In 2011, he founded VAAMAA FOREX Services Private Limited, a specialised management consultancy established to advise corporate clients, project owners, investors, and institutions seeking innovative project financing and strategic capital solutions. The company focuses on facilitating project finance, corporate advisory, investment structuring, joint ventures, international partnerships, business expansion strategies, and capital-raising initiatives.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Mehra has been actively engaged in developing relationships between international financial institutions, investors, corporations, and project developers. His professional journey began in the electronic media industry, where he gained significant experience in post-production and media services. Over the years, he successfully managed the post-production of numerous programmes for a diverse clientele, including various departments and agencies of the Government of India. Recognising emerging business opportunities through his strategic vision, Mr. Mehra expanded into international trade, specialising in the export and import of a wide range of commodities. His in-depth understanding of global trade enabled him to master every aspect of the industry and establish a strong reputation for excellence. In 2011, Mr. Mehra broadened his focus to the international stage by entering the fields of global finance, investment, and business consultancy. As part of this expansion, he founded and managed VAAMAA FOREX in India, further strengthening his presence in the financial services sector. Throughout his career, Mr. Mehra has successfully managed established corporations while also leading the development of new business ventures across multiple industries. Today, he continues to leverage his extensive international experience, strategic insight, and entrepreneurial vision to establish and grow businesses in countries around the world.
